In addition to dealing in retail lumber, Trent Bros. manufactured cabinets, doors, and millwork for the University of Illinois and libraries, schools and hospitals in Danville and neighboring communities. My Dad was an innovator with his business, offering the first drive-up window service in the area for paint and hardware, and eventually expanding with a lawn and garden center and a nursery. This was in the 1960's, long before multi-purpose home improvement centers were commonplace.

One of my goals has always been to maintain this family tradition of high quality and good service to my clients. Trends in choices of building materials and styles of designs come and go. What lasts is first class workmanship and good working relationships between people.
